Exists because the Beastlands exist When the Mother expelled them they gripped onto the Beastlands, and in so doing found the Abyss on the other side. There is a semi-physical relationship between the Beastlands and the Abyss, though nothing physical can enter the Beastlands and nothing soul like can enter the Abyss, it sort of divides Myst. Nearly or possibly all planets with a Green Moon has an Abyss. No life flows: this means that powyr must be used to live. Physical only no spirit, though in powyronly form can exist for short time, shorter then where there are life flows. Can sleep and wake in abyss without aid, but the soul is trapped, generally no traveling of the Dream zen, abyss is anti Dream zen.
