Motion Zen

(Si) Quickening, Partial
SG 55/5: Motion zen applied to holding a stretched time stance based on reflexes (mental/physical, initiative).
It may also be considered resisting time, as completely resisting time is acting with absolute zero delay.
A side effect is that sound is perceived at a lower pitch.
Note, spoken conversations with those not quickened are difficult or impossible.
(Is) Arrow Dodge
SG 60/0: Motion zen applied to stretching a deep breath's worth of time.
This is an unstable quickening.
As such it does not last long and requires extra concentration to do specific things,
though simply dodging or other instinctive reactions benefit from the quickening.
In effect it can allow the dodging of arrows.
(Fi) Resist Gravity, Partial
SG 55/5: Motion zen applied to resisting gravity for a deep breath's worth of time.
This takes too much concentration to hold for long.
The time it takes to inhale and exhale a deep breath is roughly equal to the average amount of time that someone can hold an unstable skill.
Note, whatever objects held when this skill is used are as affected,
and upon leaving contact with the person instantly resume their former weight.
So thrown objects become dangerous weapons especially when this skill is combined with a quickening.
(Mi) Absorb Impact, Minor
SG 30/0: Motion zen applied to holding a protective stance against shattering impacts
(falling or being struck by a blunt object).
(Ij) Acute Senses, Medium
SG 65/10: Motion
& Awareness zens applied to holding a stance that has a heightened connection to the environment.
All senses are greatly enhanced, but it is not amplification.
So environmental extremes such as a bright flash or loud sound do not harm the enhanced senses, but may cause distraction damage.
With this skill a sense may be tuned at will, the internal life flow enhances what can be sensed as well as what is normally being sensed.
(Id) Environmental Acclimation, Medium
SG 60/10: Motion
& Awareness zens applied to holding a stance that enables the body to acclimate to the environment
(makes natural acclimation rapid and allows preternatural acclimation).
Changes caused by using this skill often remain after the stance is dropped.
For example, in winter skin thickens and extra hair grows, in summer skin thins and the hair falls out.
(In) Hide, Medium
SG 70/5: Motion
& Awareness zens applied to holding a stance that reduces impact upon the environment.
More specifically, sound of passage as well as light reflected and scent released is reduced.
