Man Killed Because Of Fear.
Jean Charles de Menezes was shot seven times in the head by police without warning or provocation, which is exactly how they were trained in response to 9/11/01. He was simply mistaken as a suspect in the attempted London bombings of July 21st.

They thought he was Hussain Osman. Take a look at the picture and guess which is which. Police followed Mr. Menezes and killed him. They have a new policy they’ve developed to deal with the threat of suicide bombers. Shoot them in the head and ask questions later. It is official policy. They can’t take the chance of a potential bomber moving their hands after being shot. So they go for the brain, and keep shooting until they feel safe.
Relief filled peoples hearts when they heard this man had been killed. The July 7th bombings and the July 21st failed attempts had really stressed people out. It was a release to kill Mr. Menezes. He was the village sacrifice.
Of course when the truth came out in drips and spurts some anger at the police arose, but his death still served its sick purpose. Gratification, justice, revenge, vengeance, people want these things.
The police man who killed Mr. Menezes is on a paid holiday. He just killed a man in the name of fear, and he must find a way to rationalize this into something more palatable to function in human society again. But this wasn't his fault. He was just the tool used to carry out a state sanctioned execution of an innocent man without trial. That this occurred in England seems shocking. Whatever happened to being civilized? I mean even witches got a trial.
