Bush Won... Fuck God

The billion dollar family lost, amazingly a bad thing.

By Nedroj Walker

When I met Kerry on Failing Street I didn't realize how literal a portent it would turn out to be. Watching the elections end it such disappointment was like having my balls slip out of their sacks.

Bush won again and I don't have the balls left to fuck the system anymore. I have to kiss the man's ass and live a stable life so my fiancee can immigrate. I do still give enough of a damn to write this so maybe my personal cause isn't lost yet.

Oregon, especially Multnomah County, largely voted against the red tide. I must be grateful for this and take some comfort in the power of state's rights to hold out against federal influence.

This world has lived through Nixon and Reagan, we can make it through Bush too. But the damage, the awful damage, is hard to passively witness. We must pass through these times with the least amount of suffering and destruction. The harder Bush pushes the greater the force to repel him will grow.

One day the pendulum will swing back into the light, though by then it may not from America shine. Our empire has reigned long and great, but no center can hold forever. We must be ready to set aside our pride and support a new center of civilization should one rise, though honestly I can't imagine geographically where else it would be.

Europe is too old. Asia is too flawed. Australia is too barren. Africa is too broken. The Middle East is both too greedy and too fanatic. South America is too corrupt, though if North America fell I could see something rise there. No, I suppose if its going to be one country it's got to be us, which brings me back to the evil rising from the White House.

The Supreme Court has people that will reign until they die in an age where dieing is something that can be delayed by decades. They have not the minds they had. Old people must accept their failings and allow youth to replace them. This is more then the natural order, it is essential to the progression of human society.

If Bush puts a young one into Supreme Court power. He or she may reign into a time where he or she can be kept alive for extra centuries instead of mere decades. This sort of thought reminds me that the Bush of today may be like Reagan or Nixon, but is ruling a different time. This is the world of tomorrow. This is the millennium where we as intelligent beings attempt to become gods. This is an age where we redefine cycles and potentially create centers that won't hold forever, but may hold long enough to end the utopian potential of humanity.
