A yule is exactly five thousand feet. It was created by those to be known as slavaers as a simplified resurrection of the old standard mile which was five thousand two hundred eighty feet. The foot is part of the slavaer standard, and is identical to the old foot measure. It is claimed to be the exact length of the first slavaer's foot, which the Statue of Measure is modeled after. The klick was the standard that the yule replaced and is two thirds of a yule.
