This board is acquiring spammers...

There are several alias that are spammers (and undesirable at the least).  AACadio... blah blah blah and some toon girl such and such.  It appears the registration process needs tightened down.

Is the remark in the "News Box" going to be upheld and enforced - proactively?

Yeah I banned all suspected spammers.  I've been getting spammed across my site pretty hard lately.  So far the walls are holding.  Just the occasional splash getting through.

Sigh, I didn't want to do this, but due to continued spam attacks I've changed registration so new accounts have to be approved by me.

Sad but safe.  Is it such an arduous task?  Is this site bombarded by a rampant registration fervor?  It is another step, and perhaps will not allow those of true want of word to be here and receive immediate gratification and fulfillment of expression, but the alternative is rather repugnant.  I do so dislike our graft absorbing law makers.

Does the board's security and/or account process approval system not function properly?  How did it get through?  Did you approve it?  haha

Are you talking about "Zobbeaups"?  They never got approved so they couldn't have posted.  I checked and found spam taint with a google search and so have purged said account.
